A Sicilian Dream - Trailer

The Film is now ready and will be premiered at a Film Festival shortly. After that it will be released.

Featuring Alain de Cadenet and Francesco da Mosta the new trailer gives a brief flavour of what is to come!

Included in the film is the story of how the Targa Florio started in Florio's mind when in 1899 he raced a de Dion Bouton Trike against a horse in Palermo, Sicily. This was the very first motorised vehicle in Sicily which Florio had travelled personally to the Puteaux works in Paris to purchase.

So we took an original 1899 ddb Trike back to Sicily in 2013 and filmed a re-enactment of this important occasion. Real horse, real Trike!

Also a number of DDBUK members feature in the film with their Edwardian race cars on location in Sicily, over the last 3 years.
